St. Anthony’s Shrine

A significant place of worship for Catholics and devotees across multiple faiths, St. Anthony’s Shrine was later declared a Diocesan Shrine following its completion. The design draws inspiration from the Shrine of St. Anthony in Padua, Italy, translating its spiritual essence into a contemporary local context. The project brief included a shrine, chapel, priests’ residence, and generous gathering spaces for worshippers. Designed with Gothic architectural influences, the structure incorporates an open planning approach and large openings that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a serene and uplifting environment for prayer and community gathering.
